Crystal Albers joined the Angus Productions Inc. (API) team in June 2003. As associate
editor, Albers conducts interviews, writes and edits news and feature articles,
compiles columns, coordinates news releases on the Angus e-List
and manages updating of current API topic sites for the Angus Journal and
Angus Beef Bulletin.
Albers grew up on a farm in rural northeast Kansas, where her family continues to
raise corn, soybeans and commercial cattle. She graduated from Kansas State University
(K-State) in May 2003 with a double major in print journalism and public relations
and a minor in agronomy.
During her four years at K-State, Albers wrote for the Kansas State Collegian
and completed internships at Heartland Health and Eagle Radio Inc., both of Saint
Joseph, Mo. She was a member of several academic honor societies, including Phi
Eta Sigma, National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) and Golden Key Honour
Society. She also participated in the Public Relations Student Society of America
(PRSSA) and K-State's academic honors program.
Albers resides with her husband, Mark, in Doniphan County, Kansas.
