Crystal Young joined Creative Media, a division of Angus Production Inc. (API), in January 2007. Her responsibilities include providing sales and marketing support for Creative Media, generating feature articles and other written material for clients, coordinating projects.

Young is a December 2007 graduate of Kansas State University (K-State) with dual bachelorπs degree in agricultural communications and journalism, and animal sciences and industry. While at K-State Young completed internships with the Calgary Stampede and Exhibition and the American Hereford Association. Young was also president of Collegiate Cattlewomen, editor for the Agriculturist, and a member of the 2006-2007 livestock judging team.

Young is a native of Breton, Alberta, Canada, where her family operates a purebred Simmental operation. While growing up, Young was active in the Young Canadian Simmental Association, 4-H, showing cattle.
