Craig Simmons joined the Angus Productions (API) team in October 2005 as an editorial artist. He is responsible for the layout design of the Angus Beef Bulletin and assists with the Angus Journal editorial layout.

Simmons grew up in agriculture and operated his own Flinthills ranch near Emporia, Kansas for several years. His first degree was a B.S. in business administration and accounting. He became interested in publication design through his 5-year employment as Executive Secretary for the Kansas Polled Hereford Association. After selling his farm in 1998, he went back to school at the University of Kansas to earn his B.F.A. in graphic design and illustration.

He comes to API from Colorado where he did extensive graphics work and newsletter design for a company that specialized in advertising, marketing, and publications. His job with API combines his interests in cattle with his skills as a publications graphic artist.

Craig resides in St. Joseph with his wife, Diane. They have two grown sons.
