Lauralee West has been working at Angus Productions Inc. (API) since March 1989. She is currently the Office Assistant.
West's day-to-day job responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls; sorting and distributing mail, messages and faxes; packaging and preparing all mail; purchasing office supplies; coordinating repairs with servicemen; billing special requests; and charting numerous variables concerning the magazine.
West was a checker with the American Angus Association for 12 years before joining API. She was also the Office & Warehouse Manager of Houston Feed Co. Inc., manufacturers and wholesale distributors of livestock feed ingredients, equipment and supplies.
She attended the Christian College for Women and the University of Missouri, both located in Columbia, Mo.; and St. Joseph Junior College and Missouri Western State College, both in St. Joseph, Mo.
West and her husband, Larry have one daughter, Michelle, and four grandchildren, Austin, Houston, Tyler and Katie.
