A native of Evanston, Ill., Rest earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural journalism
from Colorado State University (CSU).
Rest most recently worked for the Western Beef Producer. He brings more than
20 years of breed association and magazine skills to his new duties. He worked as
editorial assistant and fieldman for the International Limousin Journal and
as a fieldman for the Limousin World.
