A native of Monroe City, Mo., Caldwell's a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Before joining the Angus team, he worked as a field representative for the Kansas
Livestock Association (KLA). As a student, he also completed internships with MFA
Inc., the Missouri Beef Cattle Improvement Association and the Missouri Corn Merchandising
Council.
While on campus, he was a member of the University of Missouri intercollegiate livestock
judging team and the meat animal evaluation team. He was also active in Agriculture
Student Council and Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
Caldwell joined the American Angus Association staff in 1998.
